This is a Christmas present for my mom, who has had this watercolor she made unframed and in storage for some time. It will be going in a bedroom with a sort of country feel, and I tried to keep that going with the extended half-lap joints on this frame (plus it was way easier than perfect miters). Woods are maple/walnut. Thanks for looking, all input is appreciated.

Awesome job on that frame. You did a most excellent job. My wife has been asking me to make a picture frame for our Daughters wedding picture, and i did not want a traditional picture frame. I love your design, i might make one with the same look. Thanks.
Ps. Beautifull picture.

Very nice tiger maple. The frame and the picture complement one another. A great painting and a wonderful frame.
