This is a puzzle that I made for my mother as a x-mas gift. The puzzle it self is small. It is only 6” in diameter and has three layers. The puzzle pieces were cut freehand(meaning no use of a pattern). What makes this puzzle really hard is the pieces have no color to them. They are just a blank wooden piece. When you are putting this together you dont really know which is the top or bottom. You also wont know what layer it belongs to either.

Dale, Welcome to LumberJocks. That is a really cool (as well as evil) puzzle.
Thanks for posting, look forward to seeing more of your work as I have recently been bitten by the puzzle bug myself.

That looks like a real challenge! Nice job. Luckily there is grain direction for at least a little hint…

Welcome to LJ’s Dale.
I love the idea of evil puzzle gifts. Since you are new, you missed this posting. See http://lumberjocks.com/projects/23807
if you want another fun/evil gift. After viewing this, I made one out of simple junk 1” pine blocks quickly “CA” glued and hit with a brad. Took me 38 minutes to solve the “half hour” puzzle. I made one for every family member who will be with me at Christmas. They will be a hit.
