Very nice Spoon! Question for you though: How are the middle vertical pieces attached? The reason why I ask is because I have a door or two to make in the coming months and have kinda struggled with a good weather proof design in that area.
Thanks,
Ron

The panel in the middle is all tung and groove, the bottom rail has the tung that goes into grooves in the slats, this keeps moisture from becoming trapped in a slot.

Help me Spoon I can’t see the bottom rail design? This is exactly where I been running into the “weather/moisture” issue. Geez I really feel dumb here but I just can’t see it:( You wouldn’t happen to have a little cross section wood you??
Thanks,
Ron

Great Idea on putting the groove in the slat bottoms and putting the tongue in the bottom board.
A great design.
