Ok I made 7 cutting boards this year, but this one is my favorite, the walnut that I used for this one had some sapwood which created the light areas in the center of the board (which I absolutely love). The walnut sections in the center also had a wavy grain that formed “x” shapes when glued up. I think this one came out fantastic, I hope that these pictures will do this piece justice. This board contains walnut, cherry and maple wood. Enjoy

Rich looking , quality boards…I really have to try an endgrain board soon : )

I like how you incorporated the sapwood into this pattern.
Beautiful grain detail.
