Are the woods maple and padauk ?
What did you use for finish ?

Dustbunny: The end grain in walnut, hickory & purpleheart. The other one is mahogany, maple and walnut.

Oh I forgot, the finish is mineral oil. (food grade of course)

I never tire of looking at others cutting boaed projects, I like making them myself too. Finished one today and started another one. Nice job.

those are really nice boards. i went to start one today with some wood i have , then found out i don’t have enough large clamps. i have a lot of smaller ones that i use for my boxes but they are not big enough for a board the size i want. i hope my end grain comes out that nice.
