Well, I’m finally getting around to putting up my second woodoworking project. My first one, the drafting table, turned out pretty well, and I’m equally as happy with this one. I still have some finishing touches to put on it..especially on the inside section housing my fridge. My wife also wants me to build some wine racks and shelves to sit on top of the bar, but that will have to wait until after the holiday season.

It’s amazing how much I have learned from these two projects. I end up making so many mistakes, which is great because I figure out how to work around those problems for future projects. The bar definitely gave me quite a few learning experiences.

Both of these projects were just creations from my head that just kind of evolved as I started building and cutting. I think that my next big step needs to be learning how to draw up actual plans before I start cutting. That would save a lot of time spend correcting mistakes.

Anyway, let me know what you think..the good and the bad. Thanks!

Very cool! It looks like a nice addition and fits nicely at the bottom of the stairs. Please post wood, finish, etc.

Looks pretty good to me , the main thing is that you like it, and you learned from your mistakes and how to over come them. Very good build .

Wow. I was impressed to see a refigerator built in to the cabinet. Looks stunning.
