i was asked to make a case to hold a traditonal flute, its made of walnut sides maple ply top and bottom and ash splines, the base is made by triangular wooden stripsglued to the base and then wraped with felt, hinged with brass hinges and catches finished with danish oil..

Nice box, I am with sras though; the flute looks like it could maybe use some more work…
