These 3 Incra style Trinket Boxes were made from repurposed cabinet doors. The main wood is beech with cherry being used on the corners, lift handles and hinges. The sides were sequenced. 2 of the boxes were stained and one was left natural. The finish was wet sanded with a “Danish oil solution” to 2000, a layer of tung oil was applied and then waxed.
Thank you for looking.

Very nice! It appears the upper hinge plate on the open box is covered. I’m curious what you did there.
Thanks for sharing.

Walpole,
The hinges are made from cherry and the design is taken from the pages of Incra’s “Projects & Techniques” by Perry McDaniel. I can’t say enough about Incra’s products and quality. I have made almost 20 of this style of box.
Thank you for your comment.

Great Job
I really love the Incra set up
too bad it is now at my son’s and he has no use for it now
Perhaps I shall recalim it.
Their videos are quite helpful as is Perry Mc.

The incra jig rocks, as your boxes show.

One day I WILL try some hinges
