Just wanted to show Debbie that you can scroll thick woods. This was cut from 2” Padauk on a scrollsaw.

Very nice, Kevin.

Not knowing anything about scrolling, I assume for interior cuts you drill a hole first and thread the blade through it?

2” !!!!!! you must have a lot of skill and a super duper machine.
two inches.. wow.

So when are we going to get a “Cyber Skill Share” video???

Thanks for the kind words!
Charlie,
Yep, that’s the way it’s done.

Debbie,
As far as the skill part, it’s a learned thing, it just takes practice. I do have a very high quality saw though. I’d be happy to add a video as soon as I get a way of capturing one and uploading it, hehehe.

borrow a video camera, a regular camera with a small video setting, a computer with a webcam, ..umm.. I’m sure there are lots of options!!!

and if all else fails, a series of still photos would work. I’m not picky or patient.. .oh I meant IMpatient.. sure I did. :)

I have a Dremel scroll saw, by the way.

Lots of bandsawn boxes, never even heard of a “Scrollsawn box” before! It definitely planted the seed for some other projects, though. Thanks for the great idea. (And your box is awesome by the way. Great scrolling.)
