Four-corner bowl - Figured Madrone

This turned bowl is 3 inches in height and the top is 6 1/4 inches in diameter. The thickness is about 3/32. The bowl is finished with 3 coats of true oil.

interesting concept…. the form is not my cup of tea, but I respect the challenge of turning that piece,,,

Very nice design and build. Love the multi corner turned pieces. It is a whole new challenge to just turning bowls.

Well executed and really nice cherry. I attempted a similar turn but more in a plate design that didn’t come out so well. Let me tell you … was I ever scared of those wings! I still want to try again, though.
