here are some pens i turned they are cocobolo.spalted locus,zebra wood,leopard wood i know alot of pens get posted on here but these are my first pens so i wanted to post them anyway i hope you like them as much as i liked making them.

-- in wood working there is no need for perfection as inperfections just go to show that the project was done by hand with love and care

Nice detail and shapes. Great job Byron, you’ll be hooked soon and then you won’t be able to walk away from pen turning. It’s addictive, therapeutic and fun!

Nice pens, good looking style. Trying lots of different exotic woods…. Hmmm, looks like you got the fever bad…. MUST MAKE MORE>>>>MUST MAKE MORE…....

Seriously, I didn’t like turning the cocobolo wood so much, lots of oil….Good job, keep it up! Oh, yes, you will notice that you make a lot of pens, and then give most of them away….... Go figure….

Byron I just looked at your carvings, they’re very nice. Why don’t you work some carving into your pen turnings. I’ll bet you could come up with some very unique pens!
