Nearly sixty years ago my late father built cabinets for the garage in our home. The cabinets were made from old crates, and other salvaged materials. When the house was sold about two years ago I was able to get one of the upper cabinets which had been removed. Because it had been damaged, I could not use it as a cabinet. However, I was able to repurpose some of the lumber and make some wine boxes and a serving tray.

I’m giving them to my brothers as gifts around Fathers Day.

Rick, nice work and a nice gift of remembrance. It looks like you nailed them to the ceiling. You can fix that. Keep boxing and keep posting.
