Just haven’t posted anything in a long time, so here ya go…..more stinkin’ end grain boards! I’ve been starting a lot of projects, but not finishing them…..and these boards started out as something else. Here you just grab some scraps and glue them together, flatten, and glue some more…..keep doing this for several weeks (after work to unwind) and you never now what you’ll get…....it’s always a surprise…..

Except for the purple border on the taller board, which is a little shout out to Prince who grew up a few miles from me, these are all scraps…..

Build photos:

Thanks for looking….and criticism is welcome with all your comments….I will say first however, I just enjoy building these even though they are over the top to many…....

Works of Art, JL7. Works of art. I really like them. I haven’t made any boards lately.

Actually, I have been tied up with other works of art. Feel free to check it out. https://www.facebook.com/ArtofJohnARoot/timeline

This past weekend I won the Juror’s Award for the Painting on the Green show in Guelph, ON. Painters from all over are invited to participate.

Stunning work, Jeff. I am always amazed at how well you can make these turn out.

Now that looks like a fun time.
It takes an eye to get those patterns though.
Good job Jeff.

Great use of scraps & your time.

You do make great looking boards.
Just like the one used in this local news cooking segment.
My friend “The Chef” featured your board during his segments….

Wow! Definite 3D effect on the bigger board, Jeff, especially in the vertical/portrait orientation!
