Here’s a box that I just finished. Figured maple with walnut and 6 coats of minwax wipe on poly.

Wow! That maple just shines! The combination of maple and walnut is just about the best there is.

Great looking box. The wood combo is very nice. I just finished some boxes using curly maple and wipe on poly for the first time. Its a great wood to work with. Great job!

This is a gorgeous box. You chose a nice combination of woods as well. Walnut and maple compliment one another well.

Gorgeous box, with my two favorite woods. I don’t believe anyone can go too wrong using maple and walnut for boxes. Love the strips – inlay or glue up? Either way, they accent the box nicely.

Great job.
