Here are 3 cutting boards I finished up last week. There is a 4th that’s about 3/4’s of the way finished but I ran out of walnut so it will wait until I decide to make a few more. I’ve seen walnut/maple boards of similar design before and decided to throw in the Purple Heart to make it a little different.

I also changed a few of the procedures I used to make them. I cut the handles with a dado blade on the table saw. It was very easy, clean and fast. I was also able to get all the juice grooves perfect which cut out some sanding.

The final deminsions were 22”x14”x1.75”

I thought the boards turned out sharp and liked the design so much that I decided to keep one for myself.

Feel free to ask any questions.
