When I first saw this chunk of wood I knew it was special and as I started shaping the outside I just could not decide were to go with it so I took it off the lathe and put it on a shelve behind me. So everyday I walked past it I just looked at the outside left it. Until oneday that I decided that the colour and the different textures and lines is enough, I’m gonna keep it simple. Just follow the outside on the inside. Its a Wild Olive root burl. Outside is sanded, inside left rough and it has couple of layers of deep penetrating oil on.

-- Create, create, create create. It makes my blood flow. And what better material to use than wood, you can repeat the same object 1000 times and none will look the same in natural form.
