A couple more bowls, 2 different freind asked if I had any bowls I could give them for Xmas, I had them come over and look through my kiln..errrrr… my refrigerator with a lightbulb and holes. Anyway Just finished them them mineral oil and bees wax. It’s too cold in the garage for anything else. One bowl is Ash, and the other box elder, both are former pieces of crotch.

Box Elder yields some different shades. I am currently making xmas cookie plates and using it as my wife likes the “pink” Good looking bowls you have there.

Box Elder is my favorite local wood I love the stuff it drys very well one of the best woods for turning green…very nice job fellow turner
