My first project! I wanted it to be something simple that I could do in a weekend and easy so I didn’t get discouraged.
My 2 year old niece needed a stool for brushing her teeth and she loves animals. I wanted to make something cute and functional. It is made from popular. I realized she might use it as a tray when eating so I painted it with non-toxic paint and sealed it with a clear spray so it can be wiped with a wet cloth.

That looks like a fun project and I’m sure your niece loves it. I’d venture to guess that she’s even named it. Nice job on the painting too.

This was from a book, I did not know home depot had a similar item. Was it part of the kids workshops?

No. This one was a promotional plan in their lumber department put out by Georgia-Pacific in an attempt to sell more lumber.
