Really unique.. I love the wood choice too.. May I ask where you find screen door plans or did you create your own… I have a huge honey do list for my hubby and on that list is a screen door for my back patio before winter.. I just have not seen any plans for screen doors or I am not looking in the right place… What a terrific unique design..

yakerjax,
My wife sketched out the idea and then I made it up as I went. This is one I was able to scratch off my honey-do list. (Had to build a patio shade to go with it to completely satisfy requirements though!) Hmmm, maybe I should post a pic of that project…
You can find several plans on various web sites by searching for ‘building a screen door’ on google. The article at http://www.popularmechanics.com/how_to_central/home_clinic/1275581.html looks like it might be fairly solid and your hubby could salt to taste.

I want more than one!!! I want to screen in my gazebo with screen doors so it can be entered from any direction…. yah.. now I’m envisioning an entire woods scene… trees, wolves, birds, yah…
Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. Rick will thank you for the inspiration, I’m sure :D
