Latest restoration. copied and replaced several seat spindles. Had to replaced several wheel spokes and felloes. Upholstered seats. Stripped 100 years of paint, sanded and painted. Sold the red Portland Cutter this week!

Your carriage restorations look like they are extremly intricate and time consuming. Very interesting. Are these for your collection?

To OhVlyArtisan, My father and I reccently opened a Carriage restoration slash woodworking shop. We restore vehicles for customers and we also buy carriages and sleighs in disrepaire restore them and sell them.

That’s a great restoration. I think it’s unique that you and your father opened a Carriage restoration/woodworking shop. Sounds like a great blend of businesses.
