This is work I finished yesterday outside temperature was almost -20C( -4F) and little windy. We started this project about month ago there was ready terrace, we make stairs, railings and covered sides with lists. Wood we used was Siperian spruce which last very good in outside structures. Only railings were treated with special white wax other parts are just plain wood which will get gray during time. It´s really pain to work outside this time of year…

Puupaja, I feel for ya! It was -15F ( -40F windchill) here yesterday but luckily I didn’t have to work outside.

Great job! Your work dresses up the terrace nicely.

Nice work! I thought the favorite Scandinavian wood was teak? LOL. Does this place belong to Jari Kurri? There’s a hockey net on the deck. -13C here today.

Nice work! I bet that it was a lot of fun setting the posts. And I know how much fun it is to work with materials being covered with snow and ice. It’s times like this when I really miss building decks in Texas!
It looks beautiful.
