Walnut/Maple Trunk

I made this trunk out of walnut which I resawed and veneered to 3/4” plywood. The straps and trim are maple with birch and walnut buttons. The bent straps were made by planing and drum sanding strips then gluing them back together with plastic resin glue in a form. This project is for a donation for a fund raiser to help send some high school kids to Romania for a school trip.

I see you have made this trunk several times with different woods. They all look great, I like the design, and the wood combinations..
