This knife was lying in the parking lot of the local Home depot. It looked like it had been there for a while and had been run over repeatedly. The handles (both sides) were completely missing and the metal was heavily and deeply scratched. Fortunately the blade was only barely damaged along the back edge. I have a hand made folding knife that my father in law had almost finished building before he passed. All that it needs is the handles and final dressing down of the blade. I thought I would try my hand at fixing this first. The handles are maple and the brads are copper from a piece of romex wire.

Nice refurb on that knife. Great way to make comfortable to use again!
