I bet you are overcroweded with orders. Very beautiful combination of patterns and wood (types) colours.

I would like to know about the one in the main picture, that has the crisscrossing, uh, inlay? I’m not sure.

May be tough to describe, but here goes..

1. Laminate walnut between two pieces of mahogany (grain of different species running perpendicular).

2. Run laminated blank through band-saw at an angle.

3. Flatten both blanks where band-saw left marks. (I hand flatten all pieces, especially this step, like you would flatten an engine block/head)

4. glue thin maple blank in. be careful to keep sides lined up.

5. Once glue dries, run blank through bandsaw in opposite direction of step #2

6. flatten bandsaw marks again

7. glue another thin piece of wood in.

8. Make bangle.
