Here is a bunch of pens that I made for Christmas gifts. I didn’t realize how much fun pen making could be when I started out turning. It’s so much fun to experiment with different coloring and finishing techniques.

I guess I’m like most people and started out with some slimline kits and quickly wanted to move into some of the kits a little farther up the line. I’ve been trying a few pens with various kits looking for kits that seem to be of good quality and appearance.

I’m there with ya! I’ve been busy turning lots of pens this year, and I started migrating to some of the larger kits too. For the twist pens, I really like the comfort pens, just a little bigger and better feeling in the hands (to me). Then going up for there, lots of impressive stuff.

Good mix of materials you have pens there!

Thanks, everyone.

It’s certainly addicting. I’m really fascinated with playing around with dyes and seeing what I can make. Thank God for Curly Maple.

Have your say...
