Walnut Herringbone butcher block

Hey Lumberjocks!
This is my first attempt at a butcher block cutting board and I wanted to see what you all thought!

The board is 15×12 and just over 2” thick made from walnut and maple. I wanted to make something really cool so I went with this modified herringbone pattern. Wanted to show it to some real woodworkers and see what you all thought!

Being my first attempt I adjusted on the fly and I know I didn’t use the best technique
