This is my own design for camping, tailgating or picnic. No nuts or bolts to loose. About 3 hours to make and around $13 in wood if new. I used biscuits, but dowels would do or screw pockets. I planned this on a 2 foot height and 2 foot round top to give plenty of room as you can see. Also the top is reversible. Another one I have is natural tone pine legs with wood stain top and the other side a light green. As a craft business I tried to sell this for $35 based on time and materials. It stores flat, and best to cover the top with a towel in storing it. I had planned a beach towel to be the tote bag to get the 24inch size I needed. Best is you don’t have to bend over to put your cup down on it, and as you see extra space after 2 plates and 2 cups. The 1×4 legs are 24inch so the table slots are 3 and 1/2 and make them a bit loose as you will be disassembling this table. I showed a wood table top with a black top to show layout for the 90 degree lines in blue. A jig saw here is great. I usually used 4 to 5 boards in my glue up for the top the center only has to be 24 inch. I made a larger poster board circle pattern for production. In the leg set there are 4 cross pieces, 19 inch, set 3/4 inch down from the top to allow the notch to set and hold the top. On one leg set the cross piece is 12 1/2 inch up and the upper notch cut down in. And the other leg set the lower cross piece is 4 1/2 inch up from bottom and the notch in the top piece is cut from the bottom. In assembly check out the photo how the right leg set slips into the larger opening and then the notches can slip into place. No bolts to loose and some wiggle to fit the slots of your top. I did round over leg pieces and cross pieces with the router table and precut the top notches before assembly.
