White oak table I built for a store. It’s 48” across. Skirt and legs are made of poplar that the store owner wanted to paint themselves. Top is put together with biscuits and cut the circle with my band saw. Skirt and legs are mortise and tenon. The top is stained with a thinned down dark walnut stain and three coats of clear lacquer finish

Why do the pictures I try to post always come up turned sideways? How do I fix?

Are you taking them with an iPhone? There are known are known issues when taking them with a phone and posting them directly. Try a Google search with your type of phone and then post what you find out.

Normally, I do not bother to even read posts with sideways pictures. I take pics and then edit them on my computer and do not have problems.

Thanks red oak. I’ll give that a try and yes I’m posting from an iPhone.

Please take a look at the post I made a little while ago titled
. “Sideways and Upside Down Photos Rant”

I would add a link but hard to do from my tablet.

It gives links to two articles about the problem.

This is a common problem with the iphone.

I can’t explain your sideways photos but the table sure is nice looking.

OK
Tabletop, here’s the deal … Ya gotta stop laying on the couch when taking the photos …

I like the way you left some of the anomaly in the wood. That says hey, I’m real wood and not printed …

Thanks for the laugh grumpy Mike. You know that actually might help. I’ll try standing next time. I specialize in reclaimed lumber, however, this is not reclaimed. It is just some scrap I had left. I have a few stores that sell my stuff and this store wanted something with a hint of “distress”. So those marks are what is left when you don’t sand completely. Thanks for the kind words.

Redoak, how’s that? Through the different links I was sent, I figured it out. Thanks for everyone’s help
