My son needed some extra storage and a bookshelf is what we came up with. This started as a rectangle shelf but you have to try something new. It’s a basic airplane shelf design with the only tricky part was making sure the shelves stay perpendicular with the wall. The fuselage and machine guns I turned on the lathe. The landing gear is for sword storage and there is a place to put small toys he can put in to be the pilot. Made with scraps and a 1” x 12” pine board Thanks for taken a look.

Great idea and just the thing for a boy’s room. Well done!

I made one with a single wing. I like this one much better, especially the wing supports. Cool looks for a boys room.

Yes Rick I was going for the Red Barron, He’s the only famous pilot with a Tri-wing plane that was popular. I needed the space so 3 wings would do it . Thanks everyone for taking the time to comment. I appreciate it.
