First Hand Cut dovetail project

Only one picture at this point, but my first hand cut dovetail project. Not great but much better than I expected! The combination of spalted pine and red oak from some hand-planed pallet wood made for a nice contrast. It fits in my tool well on the bench to hold my marking tools.

Looks like a strong joint. I hope the box serves you well. After you cut a few more dovetails youll be able to look back and see how much youve improved.

Thanks Andy… It is definitely strong. Not as perfect as I was hoping, but actually better than I expected!
