This is a set of 6 pens for my sister and her family. They have 4 kids, so each of the pens has a band for which child they are in the order. From left to right the are
buckeye burl, red palm, walnut, maple, bubinga, and maple burl dyed red to match the Swarvoski crystals.
I used a Jet 1014 lathe and 2 gouges. A roughing gouge and mostly a Sorby mini spindlemaster.

Very nice gifts. Simple but eloquent! I like the second one in from the left the best.
