This is one of my small segmented vessels. The wood is mahogany, maple and purple heart. the bottom is floating and the keeper ring is maple.

The finish is a product called Livos 244 which is an oil/polyurethane and? It is a floor finish and is very tough. My son imports the finish from Europe. It is quite expensive but it goes a long way. I have three coats of finish on this project and it is then given a mild buffing using the Beal buffing system.
