Love doing the small stuff on the lathe. These were all done on the very small Carba-Tech lathe. 1st one is a bowl made from spalded Hackenberry. Wasn’t real impressed with turing spalded wood, but it turned out ok. Some of the wood was soft. The second one was made from Chakle Viga, and was very green when turned. Didn’t like the dust or how it clung to my skin. Should wear a mask with these kinds of woods. The next one is a cherry bowl with a white Corian lid. Corian is harder to lathe, and requires sharp tools, but the shavings are fun to watch flying off. The last little one is made out of some scrap cherry also, with a small tin cupcake kind of plate in it, that perfectly fits a tea lite. Good sellers. Thanks for viewing.
