Claro Walnut and Black Walnut mid century inspired dresser with Black Cherry drawers, tapered feet and walnut pinned joints. The top and drawer fronts all came from one stunning piece of highly figured Claro Walnut that I had saved for just the right piece. The drawers are graduated and sit on hidden soft close slides. The case sides and drawer joints are all pinned with walnut dowels for added strength and a rare bit of detailing indulgence. Blind mortise web interior construction.

81 individual pieces
9 glueups
86 walnut pinned joints
Graduated drawers in American Black Cherry with undermount soft close slides
Black Walnut case
Highly figured Claro Walnut top and drawer fronts all came from one board

At first it looks like it’s not sanded and finished, something like pallet projects, but at close look I saw whole beauty of it.

The beauty of the wood almost takes away from the craftsmanship but looks like you done it justice. Very nice work.

Very nice piece! Love the joinery and figured wood. Just going to throw it out to the Jocks here because I’m curious for input. How much do you think a beautiful piece like this would sell for? I’m going to estimate $5000.
