Not bad for a quick project. I got the idea from a commercially available product that costs $379 for the set of two. (Found it on Amazon for $319.)
I was going to make the hooks myself out of pewter since I’m already in the pewter casting business with my side business but I didn’t have the time so I bought them from Amazon. They were $44.35 for 10 hooks. Not too bad but still pricey.
I used one 1”x8”x10’ poplar board from Lowes, cost: $35.28. Pine was cheaper but only slight so.
The slides costs $33.98 for 2 sets at Home Depot. Adding $5 for miscellaneous things like screws and glue the project cost $118.59!
I designed it, as I do most projects, “on the fly”. In other words, without plans.
By luck more than skill, the 1 board was as close to the exact amount as you can get. I only had a few small cutoffs leftover. Better to be lucky than good sometimes!

I was planning on doing something similar but had trouble finding the hooks for the pans. Did you get your hooks at HD too?
Thanks
Daniel

P.S. Any chance of more pics :P

The Hooks…

Several years ago I setup a Hanging Unit from the Kitchen Ceiling…

I used plain ole Coat Hanger wire…
... has worked like a charm…

Will try to take & post a picture, when I can…
