This is fairly non-descript except for the small section of intense curl. This came from the butt flair of a hard Maple. It is 8×2 1/2 with a slight undercut rim. 2 heavy coats of natural color Watco then 5 coats of wipe on poly.

Great bowl Terry.

I’m afraid hearing what an addiction turning is, that when I finally do get a lathe, I’m going to be hooked.
(I guess there are worse addictions.)

That grain pattern is wild !

Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful turning, very nice finish, nice depth to it. The finish that is.

Very nice bowl Terry. The grain looks great and the finish is outstanding.

Thanks for sharing this one. That finish is impressive with the depth it gives the piece.

Fantastic bowl. Like the undercut rim design. Fantastic finish also.

Keep it up.
