Made this board for a friend I work with who only breathes to fish.
He occasionally will ask if I have a board that looks like a fish.
Secret Santa will leave it under the tree at work for him.

Cut entirely on my band saw.
Made with red birch, wenge, and purpleheart veneer pinstripes.
Measures 16 1/2” X 7” X 3/4” thick.
Finished with Howards Butcher Block Conditioner.
Buffed :)

Thanks to everyone who responded to my blog for help on this project,
it work out fine, I was just freaking out. LOL

rtb- it will be secret till he opens the box it will be in. Ssshhhhh.
Duane- I don’t know the species, I found a fish board online, zoomed it up,traced it off my computer screen.
Jim- what humor LOL
David- thanks or your help buddy.
Ellen- We just noted that wenge is not a seller, but hey, this one’s free ! LOL

Just had a special request for a totally bizarre cutting board, I’m working out the details in my head…stay tuned…

Thanks to all,

Lisa
