Colorful way to use up scraps

Due to a shipping error, I have a lot of extra 1/2” cherry plywood hanging around. I’ve been experimenting some different box designs and paints. I like this one. Simple mitered construction, amber shellac, and blue enamel paint.

Nice one Joe.
If that’s just the photograph thick veneer that came on the plywood, then kudos on the fine corners.
Very clean and a nice colour on the top.

It is paper thin veneer. I made a new miter sled for my tablesaw and this was the test. It did okay.

I have 3.5 sheets of this stuff left. Time to get creative!
