Small oak & walnut box

I made this box from a plan in Wood Magazine. The box body is recycled oak, legs are walnut, and the handle is walnut with baltic birch. I made a small boo boo because the legs are upside down according to the plan but I am going to pretend I meant it to be that way. If I make another of these I will try the legs in the other direction.

It does looknentirely different and unique even though upside down. Make it your trade mark.

Looks great. I like the legs the way they are. Nice job and thanks for sharing.

Nice work. I also like the legs upside down. Sometimes mistakes are a good thing.

There are no mistakes in woodworking….......they are called “design elements”. You opted for the upside-down leg design element. Pure genius if you ask me.
Well done.

That’s a great looking box! And the others are right—the legs are your design element!
