First bar stool project.. Many flaws but still wanted to post it as I learned quite a bit from this project.. Hopefully next one will be somewhat better :-). .Used walnut and oak..

Looks pretty cool just not sure using pocket screws for the foot rests will hold up over time. Many times I actually push my weight up to repossition my ass. Looks nice though.

Thanks.. I did use glue along with the pocket holes but I feel the same way that over time will not hold up.. I’ll experiment with mortises and tenons on the next one and will see how it comes out..

Very nice , always had a warm place in my heart for Barstools . Here is a pic of an outgoing tide, without the Seat cushions . Had one customer that had a Quick Draw Gun School that did some up with thick cowhide leather , priceless .

RJ: Thanks… Those are truly beautiful barstools. let’s see if one of these days I make attempt in building something similar.. Do you have any pictures of the ones you built with the seat cushions?
