School Bookcase Style 3

Project by Chris Davis posted 268 days ago 825 views 1 time favorited 4 comments Add to Favorites Watch

This is another of the bookcases for the school. This style makes up a couple out of the 41 bookcases built for this school. It is the same style as “style 2” at 32 1/2”h x 60”w x 12” deep. All the shelves are fixed and divided into 12 units. It also has the ¾” x ¾” stripe on the top/back.

Here are some recorded videos of the build

Another good plan with the dividers. Is the bookcase ment for hanging on the wall or remain on the floor? If it is the latter why not provide legs or castors?

It is for the floor. The caster idea or legs would be great, but I just go off the customer’s specifications. They order so many bookcases and have a tight budget, we have to make them as economical as possible. Not this bookcase, but some of the other ones are figured so that there is as little waste as possible. Thanks for the idea.
