Out standing, a masterpiece, very interested in trying to color wood. Going to try it on the project I am working on.

Beautiful. It reminds me of a Tiffany blown glass vase I saw in a museum.

Ron,

Wonderfully gorgeous! It brought back childhood memories of the abalone shell that sat beneath my grandparent’s library table—the iridescence. Lovely!

That is very buyable I would love it in my home. However I do like turning and am fascinated by some stuff I have come across recently including this finish . Please tell me or us what is TRANSTINT DYE .And how did you come across the idea for wood.
I also read about someone staining /colouring wood, with shoe dye. Has anyone ELSE HEARD THIS OR CAN SHED SOME LIGHT.? Alistair
