That´s finnish holy place where you were born..(old times) here sauna is part of our nature. First one I is made from alder 3 pictures and the other is heat treated aspen, walls were owner made from spruce. Frame I always made from steel it´s so easy to shape and of course strong.

Good grief, that is gorgeous! You are an artist.
Could you post an article on steam bending?

Had almost 12 inches (about 30 cm) of snow fall yesterday. Would be nice to have access to one of those when I got home.

I agree with Jim C. that is gorgeous and I’d really appreciate an article on steam bending. A lot of mid-western crafts and utility goods are made by bending. I would like to venture into some of the Smokey mountain and Ozark mountain styles. Great work, BTKS

Very nice work! Those benches look a LOT more comfortable than my flat cedar benches. Remind me to fly you out to Michigan to buid mine when I make my first million $.

With my cold shop, I wish it WAS my shop!!!! How I’d sit and carve and sweat and carve and sweat. Love the curve in the seats.

I’ve actually just finished roughing in a sauna, and plan to start crafting the insides after the holidays. I’ve found nice designs online, but nothing as refined as yours. A master Finnish sauna.
