Great turning work. They are beautiful bowls & vases out of beautiful wood.

Very Nice! I was also wondering what finish on the Curly maple and the Ambrosia Maple? What are the dimensions of the two bowls? Nice job of sanding? or good too control. I still have to start with 80 or 100 grit on my sanding disks.

These are some nice pieces. Whenever I see posts like this I regret not having a lathe in my shop. I am sure these were fun to do.

Those are beautiful. I really love the figure and coloring on the vases. Excellent work.

THanks for all the comments. All the cedar is from the same tree. This is the first time That I went from cutting the tree down myself and finishing it to the end. Most of the finishes are wipe on poly but there are some shellac in there. I have to use the shellac as a sealer becuase the cedar really sucks up the finish.
