This year I will be seeing some folks I don’t normally get to see for the holidays and I wanted to give them something special. So here are the Christmas gift boxes. They will be given along with some special treats in each of them.
I had a lot of fun making them with my new bandsaw and it taught me a good amount. I am looking forward to perhaps a few more in the next couple of weeks as well.
The first one is Sycamore with a Purpleheart lid.
The second is various woods that came as a clearance block from Woodcraft. The picture will be that of me and my daughter as this one goes to my grandfather a true inspiration me.
The third was my first adventure in resawing. It has a Padauk top and bottom with Sycamore.
