1st Christmas Ornament

Thanks to “toyguy” I was inspired to turn some old cedar logs into some ornaments for christmas gifts. This first one is for my Father and his family. Hopefully he does not see this before christmas but if he does well then I hope he can keep a secret and not tell the rest of the family. I am really enjoying turning and I am going to be doing a bunch more.

Nice use of the cedar. That will make a great gift.

See, its not as hard as one might think. I really like the locket idea… I can see me using this in the future.

Now that you have the idea, make some more, maybe try boring holes from the other two sides too. Work on getting the turning a bit thinner, The lighter it is the better it will hand on the tree.
