Another project born out of necessity. We purchased a new TV, and we had to have a place to put it: sitting on the floor was too low and hanging above the fireplace was too high. We could not find one that we really liked so aspects of several we had seen were incorporated, including one built by the Woodwhisperer.
It is walnut with ebony handles on the sliding doors.

Very nice build. Looks good, nice finish. I gotta do the same. Care if I steal your idea? Mike

Thanks David. You have used one of my favorite expressions. Another is “laziness is the mother of invention. That is usually the one that fits me the best.
Mike: I would be flattered for you to “steal” my design. PM me if you want any particulars.

Great job. I like the open upper shelf but in my house this would be filled with junk all the time.

Form meets function= Great job. I know you didn’t learn that on HGTV otherwise there would be flower prints on it, or someother frilly stuff.
