This is the beginning of another story that may take off. Only time will tell. Our fellow Lumber jock DAN commented on the last project I presented (Gift made in haste) and was interested to know if I can make copies of woodcuts. This got me started and this is a picture of my first woodcut I tried. It’s about 90% done. I need hints of how it’s really done from you guys. I have used Mahogany 10” x 8” x 3/4”.

this guy is a good carver. he met his calling. cool friendly dude.

for those that may have missed it check out my blog. I bought this carving and made a rubber mold of it. It is a concrete urethane rubber mold.

I made a little box and mixed up the 2 part rubber and poured the mold. Took about 24 hrs to harden, but extremely tough.
