I just completed this box. I bought a Incra Ls positioner system for my router table, and i wanted to play with it. It is not as easy as you think. It takes quite a bit of time setting it up and getting those joints just right. I had a little problem with my router when i had it tighten and it would move on me. I might try a different router with a much easer way to adjust the bit up and down. It was made of African mahogany and red oak. I really enjoy posting my project on this site cause everybody is so kind in their comments. Thanks

monty ,
this is excellent for a first ,

and yes these dovtail setups can be frustrating .

it’s the reverse osmosis inversion thought factor at work !

and a router that stays put is a must .

very cool monty – red oak is great to work with – you can adjust the joint to accomidate the saw kerf or make an extra joint – anyway – great job – don’t stop now

Nice tight dovetails on this box. I really like how the African mahogany on the corners contrasts with the oak. I have yet to master dovetails.

Monty, great job with your first “Incra” box. You left me a message at my home page … sorry for not getting back to you. If you have questions about the Incra jig … ask away.
