TV Stand

This is a TV stand that initially was going to be a sideboard (based on the last picture) to go with my previously posted china cabinet. Midway through the build my wife and decided that it would be better to have it as TV stand which we needed anyway. As you can see I went with an open shelf instead of drawers and used tinted glass (which I etched on the back side) for the doors. The wood is Honduran Mohagony.

I also made the picture frames in the background, red oak and monhagony.

Jason, this is a gorgeous stand. I really enjoy the look of the mahogany. I have never had the opportunity to use any type of mahogany but, from this post, I can see that I have been missing out on a beautiful wood. Your project has lots of interesting details that add visual interest to the cabinet. And the finish looks excellent.
